Coachella 2010

i have to say...coachella always has an amazing lineup. i keep waiting for them to let me down, but they never do...ESPECIALLY this year. wow. this is going to be one of their best years for sure.
the bigger & bolder the band is, the more excited i am to see them.

SUNDAY - APRIL 18TH

i'm going friday & saturday. i absolutely CANNOT WAIT!!!

Laziness

I really hate when people say they "can't get a job". That is just ridiculous to me. If you truly WANT to get a job - you can. Usually the people who don't have jobs and say that they can't get one... just use that as an excuse to do nothing. Maybe it's just me, but when I WANT something bad enough, I won't stop until I get it.

I work with SO many people at my restaurant job who have graduated from college and have degrees. But, they are so complacent doing what they do. Sure, the tips are good. But, you could do better if you TRIED!

I guess I just hate when people tell me they "can't" do something - YES, you CAN!

Up, Growing

I've learned so much throughout my 25 years. I've been though a lot and have truly grown. I've learned to appreciate the beautiful things in life & have acquired the ability to distinguish those who are positive influences in my life as to those who are negative. I have learned that I do not need any one person to make me feel good about myself, I love me for ME. I don't have many close friends and I can honestly say (at this point in my life), I am glad. I am at such a different place than most of the friends I have.

If someone is happier with me NOT in their life, then so be it. Because I can honestly say, I am happier without certain people in my life anymore.

Life is a roller coaster. I never know what is going to happen next. I just keep my seatbelt on and hope for the best.

Utah - Christmas















The first night I got there, I made dinner for Nick, his room mate Kyle & I ...salad, garlic bread & linguine with clams. It was pretty good.


After dinner that first night, Nick and I headed to downtown park city. We saw a group of about 7 people in their early 20's. Nick figured they needed a ride so we pulled over to ask, and sure enough - they did. So we gave them a ride into town (for $10). These kids were crazy! I'm pretty sure they were drunk.

This is Nicks house. It's such a cool tri-level house.




















This is one of my favorite restaurants in Park City called Shabu Shabu House. It's sooo GOOD! It's really different. There aren't too many restaurants like it.

There are places to hang your coat in every restaurant. I don't know why but I just think that is so cool.












Christmas Day at The Canyons. I had lox, salmon, caviar, ham, beef, mashed potatos & a scallop salad! It was amazzzzzingggg!!! THEN I had a WONDERFUL massage while Nick worked.


















Burgers & Beers at O'Shucks... just down the street from Nicks.














I love Nicholas so so much & am so thankful to have him in my life.
It was a good trip! xo

The Worst Feelings

5. Getting Pulled Over
Everyone can agree on this one. That feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you see those red & blue lights in your rear view mirror. Sucks!

4. Going to the Doctor
Especially if you think something may be really wrong. Maybe even worse... waiting for them to get back to you.

3. Losing
Losing sucks, period. Especially if it's a game you were winning and/or almost won.

2. The Airport Drop-Off
Dropping someone off or being dropped off by someone you love, saying goodbye & knowing you aren't going to see that person for a long time.

1. The Call
Getting the call informing you that someone you love has died.
